Huh, ne hikayeydi ama. Uzun zamandır bu kadar gerildigim hatta korktuğum bir roman okumamıştım. Hikayenin kendisinden ziyade Mircea Eliade'nin betimlemeleri insanı gerim gerim geriyor. Gotik öğelerin bulunması da okumayı daha gizemli kılıyor. Romanya'nın vampir mitinin üstüne hayaletleri ve rüyadaymış gibi bir anlatımı ekleyen yazar biraz karmaşa yaratmış olsa da mekan ve korku tasvirleriyle kitabın sınırlarını çizmiş. A fost cu adevărat o carte bună, foarte bine scrisă. Eliade a reuşit să drescrie imaginile cu o putere pe care el se pare că o are încorporată în talentul său imens de scriitor Merită citită!

Again Eliade makes a wonderful work full of suspense and drama. It's been a long time since I last read somethin this captivating. However I am not giving the book a full five-star grade because as always Eliade has an incomplete ending - I would have liked to know what happened to Mrs Moscu and the professor.

Roman gotic reusit. Suficient de bun incat sa ma impinga si spre alte carti a lui Eliade.Autorul lasa multe semne de intrebare. Cartea putea sa fie mai lunga :)

Bu kitapla ilgili kafam biraz karışık, bunun en temel nedenlerinden biri, her ne kadar içerdiği güçlü bir sembolizmle kendi anlamını açığa vurduğunu bilsem de, vampir hikayeleri hiç ilgimi çekmemiştir. Ama bir yazarın hem Romanyalı hem de üstüne dinler tarihi, folklor uzmanı olup da böyle bir eser yazmamış olması garip olurdu herhalde. Eliade'nin yaptığı da aslında kısaca bu. Now this freaked me out a bit. I actually didn't expect it to be this creepyI gave up a part of my sleeping time for this book and here I am at 5am reviewing it (well I fell asleep a few times). I don't actually know how I feel about iteven if it's short it has everything it needs, I don't think that being longer would make it as great as it already is.

Domnisoara Christina este cea mai interesanta "carte" scrisa de Eliade. Pot sa spun ca,înca de la primele pagini, spiritul eliadesc m-a împresurat cu aroma lui de mister şi senzualitate. Amalgamul de simboluri si mituri ofera operei in sine o vraja aparte-strigoi, une femme fatale. 3.5⭐️This romanian novella killed me. I loved the way was written, Eliade was a good writer. I gave it 3.5 stars because I didn't liked the ending, it was too metaphorical, you have to interpret it alone. I also liked that he described everything with beautiful words, the love parts were absolutely amazing! Every book lover should try this!

Read the English translation of this novella when it was available - it's gone now! - as an e-book on . Was very struck by the atmosphere of disease and decay that Eliade created. Not a particularly elaborate plot, and reminiscent of Lefanu's 'Camilla', but the mood and atmosphere put this in the first rank.
