The title says it all in the word advice Some topics are covered in depth than others However, it s a good overview and I keep the book close by my work area I changed my mic placement based on the diagrams in the book and am very happy with the results.

An absolute must for anyone interested in recording and editing audio either professionally or for a hobby Really geared towards professional voice overs, voice actors and audiobook narrators For once this is a book about audio in a home studio that is not selling the dream of making a quick buck with a USB mic and only minimum talent It is geared to professional voice actors with some technical knowledge, who are honing their skills and want to up the quality of their home produced audio This i [...]

This is a fantastic book As a nerdy, technical person I loved the info in there The book shows a photo of mic placement It is a short read and is filled with useful info.
