This is the concluding part of Christine Burns personal memoir of the fight by Press for Change for legal recognition of transsexuals, which was achieved in the Gender Recognition Bill 2004 That is not a spoiler it is shown on the front cover of the book There is a lot of details of legal matters and quotations from campaigning newsletters that will be fascinating for researchers into what led to this momentous legal change, but my interest lay elsewhere I research social media activism and it w [...]
