I've been reading this trope, enslaved prince falls in love with his captor, a lot lately. I can't say that I enjoyed this version. Too many things are just so easy but the biggest being the way Adrian's brothers (and parents) step aside from their rightful claim to the throne.Adrian feels at times like a chick-with-a-dick. He spends a lot of time being carried around by Magnus or having panic attacks and shaking in fear. The "bdsm" feels odd at best. Or maybe I have just read too many books by p [...]

I started this book yestarday and I thought it would be way better than it is. I don't care what the author says, if a sexual scene happens without the consense of one of the people doing it,also if is a bj, it is rape. And at this point, I I'm pretty sure that one of the MC has the stockholm syndrome Leaving this book for the moment be continued one day.

Yeah, this was one of those books, that could have been freaking awesome, BUT the way Adrian was treated totally ruined it for me.One thing is the master/slave-relationship that develops, this could have been hot, if not for the fact that Magnus was a fucking manipulative douche, that uses Adrian and keep using him throughout the story.Another thing is that Adrian was freaking awesome, until he became another ridiculous excuse for a MC. It started out so well; Adrian had a mind of his own, he wa [...]

Для эротики вполне недурно.Это же эротика, да? Потому что если нет и планировалось просто фэнтези, то у меня уйма претензий и двойка наготове.

This was so my kind of book! I loved Adrian and Magnus and all of the secondary characters, I'd love to read a sequel.

I got this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. As a fantasy die hard fan this had quite a few of my pleasure points in it. Both of the Main Characters are elven princes at the beginning of the book. Adrian awakes to his family's castle being invaded. Adrian is the youngest of the four princes of Merish, and is a more scholarly and strategic thinker as opposed to a fighter. He is agile and feisty. He is the last brother captured and leads the Kitarian army on quite a ch [...]

3.75 starsSM, elves, captive princesis was quite an engaging story. The only thing I was bummed about was Adrianwe're told so many times he's a strategist, he is so clever and cunningbullsh*t! He did nothing especially smart or strategical, and I don't see how he would be an asset to Magnus, despite all the author's assurances. Anyway, still a nice read.

Weak prince. Inconsistent M/s. Juvenile chick-with-dick characters. No relationship development between MCs. Illogical court politics. Fuzzy world building. Don't recommend.

There is nothing I can say about this book that I didn't like. I was taken away into a world of elves, the plot is very interesting and the characters just meshed. Their chemistry was perfect and beautiful. A must read if you're looking for something different.

Fantastic read. The beginning is harsh, I was doing some squinting while I read, but the story is POW! Intriguing plot, amazing characters--didn't want it to end.
