Another terrific entry in the It's Reigning Men series! I met the protagonists of this book in Something in the Heir and was really interested to see where their relationship would go. Royal equerry Darcy and vivacious, fun-loving Caroline seemed to have great chemistry and a wonderful time together, but was their hook-up in the States just a fling, or was there potential for something more? Caroline is wondering the same thing when Heir Today Gone Tomorrow starts. To her surprise since she's al [...]

A very fast read that was predictable but enjoyable at the same time! Common woman with gorgeous rich dude who doesn't fantasize about that?

The ending just kind of farted into existence which ruins the book

Loved this story as much as the first book.Caroline McKenzie is feisty, fun, loving, and best friends with Emma who is preparing to marry the handsome Prince Adrian. Caroline keeps thinking about her time with Darcy back in the states but he has not reached out to her since he left. There is so much that happens with Darcy and he keeps his stress away from the ones that care about him and he fights his want to connect with Caroline again. Others work together to try and get them to see what ever [...]

Nice beach readLove the character development of not only Darcy and Caroline but also how Adrian and Emma have progressed from the last novel. How Gardiner built up to not only the royal wedding but to how Darcy dealt with his father's death and gaining lordshipoh and how he and Caroline reconnect. I do want to add that Gardiner not only reconnects this book with the last but introduces the characters of the next book in a very intriguing way.

Fun readWhen I purchased this book I had no idea it was second in a series. That being said, I enjoyed it and it gave enough background on the first book to make This book stand alone. It was a really enjoyable and fun read. Totally recommend it.

I wanted something fast and light to read between assignments in grad school. This was perfect. You know how it's going to end but it's still a fun journey along the way.

I liked this book, #2 in the series. I figured out there are enough royal children available to populate several more books. Not sure I want to pay for all of them but would read if in the library.
